Project TriCardics has been nominated as a World Economic Forum's Technology Pioneer Candidate for the class of 2010, as a result of being finalist of the Global Entrepreneurship Competition of HIT Barcelona.

The World Economic Forum is an independent international organization committed to improving the state of the world by engaging leaders in partnerships to shape global, regional and industry agendas. It is well known by organizing the Annual Meeting in Davos in January every year, which integrates the top decision-makers from all sectors of global society in the most representative way.

The Technology Pioneers Community is one of the most widely recognized initiatives of the World Economic Forum. To be selected as a Technology Pioneer, a company must be involved in the development of technology innovation and have the potential for long-term impact on business and society. In addition, it must demonstrate visionary leadership, show the signs of being a long-standing market leader – and its technology must be proven. Past recipients of the recognition include Google, Business Objects and Dr Reddy’s Laboratories. When selected, Technology Pioneers attract worldwide media attention – in the past Time, BusinessWeek and Red Herring have covered the award. Among other activities, recipients of the award get invited to the Forum's Annual Meeting in Davos and Annual Meeting of the New Champions in China.
